The thing about Slade is I have absolutely zero albums by them. All I do have is a couple of songs from the seventies on various compilation albums.

So why would I choose Slade?

Well the two songs are excellent, secondly if you live in Britain, then Slade have what is probably one of the most ubiquitous christmas songs out there, and it is that time of year as I do this.

If you live in the US, you probably believe that the next song was by a group called Quiet Riot. However, it was first done by Slade in 1973
