Hudson Ford were a spin off group from the Strawbs

It consisted of Richard Hudson and John Ford

To my knowledge, they produced two albums of music, neither of which made it to CD (although admittedly it’s been about 15 years since I looked.) Music of theirs can be found on the Strawbs CD Halcyon days.

Dark Lord was actually the B side to Free Spirit

Dark Lord is an important track to me. It has the line
