I missed the beginning and I’m not sure how much of the beginning I missed. Can’t have been more than about five minutes, but the scene opens with even kids in the desert and me having no clue as to how they got away from those who grabbed them at the end of the previous movie.

The story then continues

They get into trouble – they get out of trouble – they get in trouble – they get out of trouble – they get in trouble – they get out of trouble and the movie ends with me wondering why there didn’t really seem to be any actual story (just a series of set pieces)

There are also some very silly scenes.

Him: This way is clear, lets go this way

Her: this way is disgusting, come back and look at it so we can be attacked by zombies and I can be infected!

Then there’s the girl who contacts the bad guys at the end. How exactly???

All in all not a great movie, admittedly it’s the best movie I’ve seen at the cinema in 3 months, yes it really has been that long since I last went to the cinema.
